AIMS AND OBJECTS OF THE TRUST
1. To establish, develop, maintain, run, support and grant educational initiatives for promotion of all forms of music.
2. To establish, develop, maintain, centers across the world for the promotion of Indian Classical Music in all its forms and covering all schools for scholarly research, performance, education, publicity activities, fusion with other musical traditions from around the world, networking with similar initiatives and management of the various initiatives.
3. To undertake initiatives to popularize traditional Indian Classical Music amongst the masses across the world.
4. To undertake initiatives for cultural rejuvenation for all forms of art including but not limited to music and dance for holistic cultural richness of society and the masses.
5. To establish, develop and maintain and support regional hubs and centers for activities including research, education, performance and archiving of cultural heritage, past and present.
6. To establish, maintain, support and initiatives for collection and preservation of all articles related to various music and dance traditions including instruments and intellectual property.
7. To undertake activities establish, develop and attract tourism nationally and internationally through for greater increased exposure to the musical traditions and their popularity.
8. To establish, develop, run, maintain, promote, engage and support standard auditoria and requisite instrumentation for performance of music and dance and facilities for residence of artists, mangers and individuals engaged with these activities.
9. To establish, develop, run, and support museum of Indian Classical Music in order to preserve the biography of our past artist and their instruments and other belongings related with the Indian Classical Music.
10.To establish, develop, run, and support a hostel to the students of Indian Classical Music.
11.To promote the inclusion of all art forms and particularly Indian Classical Music in the academic curriculum at all levels viz. schools, college and Universities and professional training institutions.
12.To establish and develop a university of Music and dance to promote these art forms.
13.In recognition of the fact that social work need to be inclusive and holistic for effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability, the trust will work for socio-economic upliftment by undertaking various activities related to
· Promotion of national integration and communal and social harmony.
· All round development of children.
· Promotion of Human Rights of all peoples.
· Promotion of democratic values and freedom of speech and all lawful action.
· All round improvement and development of governance structures.
· Environmental conservation and re-generation.
14. To make arrangements for cultural delegation/exhibition/agreement and cultural exchange programmes pertaining to music/dance with abroad.
15.To educate the citizen of India to preserve, save, maintain and support Indian Tradition, Music, Culture, heritage and environment.
16.In recognition of the centrality of the river Ganges to the lives of Indians and particularly citizens of Varanasi, work for service unto the river and its environment. This inter-alia includes addressing pollution, de-forestation, beautification and upkeep of river banks, catchment, origin and hinterland.
17.To establish, support and utilize all forms of media especially new and audio visual media like television for the achievement of all the objects mentioned in the above objectives.
